Embed Technologies today announced
the signing of a distribution partnership agreement with Sabtech
Industries.
This will enable Embed Tech to bring forth a new generation
of certified NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) products for Indian
defence customers for use in Weapon Systems, Undersea Warfare,
C4ISR, Radars, Aircraft, Training & Simulation.
The NTDS technology was developed by the United States Navy
for use in combat ships.
A typical NTDS system comprises complex data inputs, user consoles,
radio terminals interconnected with high-speed links, general-purpose
computers and its stored programs. Combat data is collected,
processed, and composed into a picture of the overall tactical
situation that enables the force commander to make rapid, accurate
evaluations and decisions.
The NTDS products are available on form factors such as PCI,PMC,
VME and cPCI and conform to various MIL standards for use in
military and defence applications.
Sabtech works closely with Lockheed Martin for product deployments
on United States Navy ships & other foreign navy ships worldwide.
